Description
The T-Ball program is a co-recreational team sport for ages 4 to 6 years. Our philosophy is to introduce children to the fundamentals of baseball, to encourage sportsmanship, and to promote equal participation in a none-competitive environment.
This is a ten-week program with two practices starting the week of January 22, before the eight-game season that starts on February 1.
There will be two practices prior to the first game and then one practice and one game a week. The 45-minute practices will be held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 6:00pm or 7:00pm depending on the coach's availability. Games will be played on Thursdays at 6:00pm or 7:00pm. All practices and games will be held at Encanto Park Sports Complex, 2121 N 15th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85007, on the ballfield just east of the parking lot.
A PARENT MUST PARTICIPATE WITH THEIR CHILD.
Please bring your child's baseball glove and a bottle of water with you to practices and games.

Any player or coach request must be in the "request prompt" when registering and late registrant's requests will not be granted.
Coaches meeting will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Special Operations Building 1802 W Encanto Blvd. (behind the AZ State fairgrounds). Enter north on 17th Ave and Encanto then take a quick left, going west using the golf course street in through the fenced area.

The coach's commitment will be to hold a practice once a week and the team play game per week. Prior to the season there are requirements for background checks, an online training through NAYS and a mandatory meeting. Coache's meeting is Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 6:00pm till 8:00pm at the Washington Activity Center 2240 W. Citrus Way. The total amount of hours for a couch during the season is around 24 hours for the ten-week program.
